#LousDay: A Weekly Lou Reed Tweetchat

Posted on May 10 2016

Did you know that every Tuesday night at 9pm EST, we jump on Twitter and chat with some friends about a different Lou Reed album while we all listen to it simultaneously?

Really, we do this. We're going to keep doing it until we run out of Lou Reed albums.

We call it "LousDay". It's like any other Tuesday night, but with concentrated levels of Lou Reed chatter from friends all over the place.

You're invited to join us. If you have a Twitter account, just sign in and do a search for "#LousDay". Make sure the click the "Live" tab (circled in the image below), and you'll be seeing the tweets as they come in.

Don't worry about joining late, every couple of songs we send out a tweet announcing where we are in the album so everyone is on the same page.

And don't worry about not having the album, we always send a tweet before the chat that will links to a YouTube video featuring the full album.

The key is to include the hashtag #LousDay in every tweet you send as part of the chat. That way we'll see it and respond to it, as will others.

It's a lot of fun, and we hope you'll join. We're always looking for other Lou Reed fanatics!
